Walk around the World - IPSHA Walkathon

WALK AROUND THE WORLD TO SUPPORT THE JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION

This term the Junior School will be participating in  a Walkathon on Tuesday 29 March to raise funds and awareness for Juvenile Diabetes. We will be one of many schools participating in the IPSHA  Walk Around the World event to raise money for the JDRF which stands for Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.

The Foundation does wonderful work for children with Juvenile Diabetes, not only by offering support for their families, but also with their ongoing research into finding a cure for this disease.

When: Tuesday 29 March

Time:   8:30 - 10:25 am

Where: Drummond Field 

             Years 3 - 6  will walk 3 - 5 kms

             Evandale playground 

             Pre-K - Year 2 will walk 1 km

All sponorship money will be due back to school by Friday 8 April.
